Life on a Working Ranch in the American West
Julie & Mark seek out real cowboys at working ranches, where guests from around the world come to live out their Western fantasies and proud families struggle to preserve their way of life. They'll mount up and join the gang for a cattle drive, then explore the sacred land of the Crow Indians, who left pictographs on the sandstone cliffs. On a high mountain plateau, Mark & Julie revel in the spectacle of majestic, wild mustangs as they romp in their natural setting.

A "Dude Ranch" is more of a vacation - it may have a swimming pool, tennis courts and other resort amenities. You can play cowboy, but you will not have any real responsibilities.
